International Lyric Competition
M° Griglio will conduct the finale of the Ist International Singing Competition Città di Saluzzo.
The competition, dedicated in its first edition to the Saluzzo-born soprano Magda Olivero, will take place in Saluzzo from september 15 to 17 2010 and is the result of the cohoperation between the Fondazione Alto Perfezionamento Musicale of Saluzzo, International Opera Theater and the American Composer Forum Philadelphia, with the patronage of the General Consulate of Italy in Philadelphia.
The four winners will be the protagonists in the opera "Decameron”, commissioned by the American Composers Forum Philadelphia in cooperation with International Opera Theater. Performances will take place at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia on November 12-13-14, 2010
Jury: Alberto Basso (president), Karen Saillant, Wally Salio, Walter Beloch, Stefano Secco and Paola Mosca.
