The Taming of the Shrew

Gianmaria Griglio the world premiere ofi Efrain Amaya's new opera "The Taming of the Shrew", featuring british soprano Belinda Williams as Kate, with special guest CelloFury, performing on stage with the entire cast and in perfect harmony with the orchestra.

The opera, produced by International Opera Theater and directed by Karen Saiilant, will also star the italian baritone Ignazio De Simone as Petruccio, the american bass Nathan Baer as Battista, the american soprano coloratura Laura Parker as Bianca and polish bass Graziano de Pacei playing the double role of Grumio/Tranio.

The opera will be performed on August 24-25-26, 2010 at Teatro degli Avvaloranti in Città della Pieve (PG).
