Decameron

Gianmaria Griglio will conduct the world premiere of Decameron, after Boccaccio. The cast will feature winners of the Ist International Singing Competition Città di Saluzzo, dedicated to Magda Olivero - a project made possible by the cooperation of International Opera Theater, American Composer Forum Philadelphia Chapter and the APM Foundation in Città di Saluzzo.

The production, of the International Opera Theater directed Karen Saillant, has been commissioned by the American Composer Forum of Philadelphia and will take place at the Prince Music Theater of Philadelphia on November 12-13-14, 2010.
