3 romanze for tenor and piano on poems by Guido de' Cavalcanti, one of the greatest poets in the history of Italian literature.

All three poems are built around the concepts of love and pain, something that will have a great influence and will be developed further by Cavalcanti's great friend Dante Alighieri.

This is a cycle which includes 3 separate pieces:
